Always experimentally inclined, Radio has produced a music video that doesn’t use ‘traditional’ camera’s, but laser scanning. The result is a beautifully mesmerising video, with collapsing infrastructure, indeed.

Conor Oberst & The Magic Valley Band played in de Melkweg in Amsterdam yesterday. Conor Oberst, The Artist Formerly Known As Bright Eyes. And obviously, I went to see them. He’s not that well-known in this part of the world, so the concert wasn’t sold out. I am addicted not so much to his music, but to his voice and his stage presence. Nearly all other band members sang as well, but although they weren’t bad singers, when compared to Conor, they came nowhere close.
It was so good, that after the show I went to the jam session at the local bar and behaved even worse on stage than him…

Anna Vandas is a Canadian singer-songwriter. David Vandas, her husband, makes music videos. Together they created the music video below (as you might have noted, I’m a great fan of music videos). I think it’s not only interesting in a musical and a cinematographic kind of way, but also in a psychological way.

Flickrian ana rodrigez is a brilliant photographer. She’s a student from Mexico City and clearly has a lot of talent. Among her photos are somewhat erotic pictures. She herself features in most of those pictures. Although they’re NSFW, they are beautiful and never become coarse.
Brilliant video, exploiting the vibrant personality of the lead singer. It’s not really my kind of music (simple electronic), but the one-take video is fascinating material.
